Just a quick post to show off my momentary brilliance… It doesn’t happen very often, so I’m not really bragging. My daughter is allergic to regular earrings and hasn’t been able to wear them much to her chagrin. So, my sister bought her 3 pair of sterling silver earrings for her birthday and they work great! Here’s my brilliance: I went to Hobby Lobby and bought more sterling silver findings, and made more earrings! It doesn’t sound like much, but if you knew how many thoughts rambled in and out of my head.. mostly out…..you’d understand. Turned out pretty cute eh? I also converted some of her old earrings, so she has plenty to wear now.
This is the second bag I’ve ever made… ha…it only took three years. I’ve made many bags since then, and learned enough to come back and finish this one!
Our big guy had his first Pinewood Derby last night. He couldn’t have been more excited. After all was said and done, he came away with third place! Not bad for his first race. He’s already planning for next year!
Here he is accepting his awards.. he also won most aerodynamic!
I made something, just a little something, but still something. Rainie has adopted it as her own, fortunately I have more fabric and can make me one with a zipper that matches better!
